Release notes with actual boundaries

The 2.x train is split into focused releases so dashboard, bot, API, and database changes can be tracked without burying everything in one giant update.

LatestJuly 7, 2026

2.5.0 - Embed Identity

Dashboard + bot

A visual customization release for server-owned Kyvera embeds, with Discord-side controls and a dashboard preview workflow.

  • Added per-server Embed Styles with live previews for module colors, custom images, thumbnails, author badges, and footers.
  • Added /embed-style set, view, and clear for administrators who want to change module branding from Discord.
  • Applied configurable styles to giveaways, polls, suggestions, Starboard highlights, ticket panels, ticket welcomes, reopen notices, close confirmations, and priority notices.
  • Added /dashboard/[guildId]/embed-styles with URL validation, color presets, module cards, and a Discord-style preview.
  • Kept the runtime logic intact: buttons, counters, ticket state, Starboard source attribution, and database updates still use their existing workflows.
  • Updated command docs, community docs, the command catalog, the dashboard sidebar, release notice, and this changelog.

2.4.0 - Community Automation

Bot + dashboard

Adds persistent participation tools and quality-of-life commands for active Discord communities.

  • Rebuilt /help as an interactive category menu with dropdown navigation and focused command embeds.
  • Added Starboard highlights with reaction thresholds, ignored channels, dashboard settings, and recent highlight review.
  • Added Auto Replies for scoped FAQ triggers with match modes, cooldowns, placeholders, and dashboard management.
  • Added persistent polls, giveaways, and suggestions with Discord buttons and dashboard management.
  • Added personal reminders with restart-safe delivery and duplicate-send protection.
  • Added AFK notices that respond to mentions and clear automatically when the member returns.

2.3.0 - Support Desk

Tickets + automation

Expands tickets into a more complete support workflow with recovery, tagging, automation, and safer transcripts.

  • Expanded tickets with claim and release controls, priority, categories, tags, close reasons, last activity, and reopen tracking.
  • Dashboard ticket reopening now recreates the private Discord channel, restores member and staff permissions, and republishes ticket controls.
  • Escaped transcript content before HTML generation to keep downloaded support transcripts safe.
  • Added ticket commands for participants, renaming, claiming, closing, reopening, and transcript retrieval.
  • Enhanced ticket commands with claim release, priority updates, and tag management from Discord.
  • Added self-service role menus with Discord deployment and manageable role validation.
  • Added one-time, daily, and weekly scheduled announcements with duplicate-send protection and retry handling.
  • Added configuration revisions so important dashboard changes have a durable operator history.

2.2.0 - Economy and Progression

Leveling + shop

Hardens the economy system and makes progression clearer for members and staff.

  • Fixed XP being counted twice during message rewards and made cooldowns, XP ranges, ignored channels, and level-up channels configurable.
  • Added an economy transaction ledger for daily claims, transfers, purchases, refunds, message rewards, and quest rewards.
  • Made payments, daily claims, and shop purchases atomic to prevent duplicate claims or negative balances under concurrent requests.
  • Added stock limits, per-member purchase limits, disabled items, and automatic refunds when Discord role delivery fails.
  • Expanded quests across messages, commands, reactions, and voice minutes with goals, rewards, active windows, and direct completion feedback.
  • Added daily streaks, achievement rewards, member profiles, and XP, coin, or streak leaderboards.
  • Added /shop inventory plus a searchable dashboard purchase history covering collectibles and delivered roles.
  • Optimized leaderboard pagination and cached Discord profile details to avoid slow sequential user lookups.

2.1.0 - Moderation and Access

Safety + permissions

Gives staff stronger moderation records, safer command gating, and more resilient interaction handling.

  • Added numbered moderation cases with evidence, internal notes, appeal states, resolutions, and per-member history.
  • AutoMod now supports exempt roles and channels, allowed domains, and configurable anti-spam thresholds.
  • Violating message content is attached directly to moderation evidence; no dashboard live-chat retrieval is required.
  • Added command policies for enabling commands and restricting them by minimum role, allowed roles, or blocked channels.
  • Added Discord case commands for reviewing, annotating, resolving, and reopening moderation records.
  • Added warning removal and bulk-clear commands with durable moderator attribution.
  • Added slowmode and channel lockdown commands for incident pacing and emergency channel freezes.
  • Added unban support so the Discord-side moderation lifecycle now covers ban removal with durable case records.
  • Added temporary roles with automatic expiry, early removal, and active grant listing.
  • Added role management, nickname management, and moderation activity stats commands for staff workflows.
  • Added configurable anti-raid quarantine plus mention, caps, and emoji-spam protection with a safe test mode.
  • Replaced long native role and channel lists with searchable selectors that only offer resources suitable for each action.
  • Disabled commands now stay disabled for administrators while role and channel restrictions retain an administrator recovery bypass.
  • Improved moderation indexing so case, warning, and action history remain responsive as servers grow.
  • Hardened Discord interactions so command policies, ticket buttons, modals, and role menus acknowledge users before slow database work.
  • Added command-policy circuit breaking, bounded database pools, and gateway-cached guild resources so a Supabase or Discord REST slowdown cannot take down unrelated commands or empty dashboard selectors.
  • Added command health analytics and a persistent retry queue for failed message and role-delivery actions.

2.0.0 - Control Network

Dashboard + platform

The dashboard redesign and platform-hardening baseline for the 2.x release train.

  • Rebuilt the dashboard around a faster, denser operations workspace with cleaner navigation and responsive layouts.
  • Added playful light reactions, focused hover motion, and restrained transitions without compromising readability.
  • Introduced a public service-status view for the frontend, Discord API, bot, and database.
  • Moved the global footer into the root layout so status and legal pages stay reachable throughout the site.
  • Added this dedicated changelog and release notices inside authenticated dashboard views.
  • Updated Next.js cookie handling to the asynchronous API, resolving production request failures on Vercel.
  • Added OAuth state validation and removed Discord access tokens from the long-lived dashboard session payload.
  • Restricted bot API cross-origin access to configured dashboard origins.
  • Separated Discord bot readiness from dashboard API reachability and added a database heartbeat fallback to prevent false offline states.
  • Moved dashboard rate-limit counters into the database with a local development fallback.
  • Added setup diagnostics for Discord permissions and stale channel or role references.
  • Bot installation now requests Administrator, while setup guidance calls out Discord role hierarchy separately.
  • Added status-incident records for communicating active and resolved platform issues.
